It all started when…

In November 2017 the Nevada Department of Taxation announced they were accepting applications for marijuana cultivation and production licenses in rural counties with populations below 100,000 to allow at least one cultivation and production facility in all counties. With local ties to the community the team at Clover Creek Cultivation was assembled and began engaging in moving regulations forward to promote economic development and new opportunities for the area. The city of Caliente adopted and passed Ordinance #183 in January 2018 allowing cannabis cultivation and production with some restrictions.

Clover Creek Cultivation was approved for medical cannabis cultivation and production license in April of 2018. The company acquired 200 acres for future business and plan to build a new, state of the art facility with room for expansion as the market demand increases. Construction will commence in stages allowing operations to start on smaller scale and begin producing tax revenue locally.
